A painting by my mother

When I as little I was over the top excited when I could join my mother for her weekly watercolor painting lesson. I remember me painting clowns and bears, and my mom painting flowers (such original topics right ;). Last week my mom had a notebook in her bag with old paintings. And I loved seeing them again! Funny how some memories are there but you never really think about them consciously and seeing an old picture – or in this case: painting – brings it all back.

She ripped this one out of her notebook and gave it to me and I love the fact that you can see the torn edges. Sentimental pieces are hard to top!
