Bates Motel by Vincent Lamouroux

Vincent Lamouroux covered the Bates Motel in white paint and it looked incredible! The day we visited it was super cloudy. At first I was bummed, but when I saw the pictures I was pretty stoked we got to view it this way. Grey clouds and white palmtrees turned out to be what my minimalist mind always wanted to see.

“White could bring the most light, could cause a sort of bedazzlement”

And don’t worry about the environmental consequences. Lamouroux used an environmentally friendly limewash to cover the Bates Motel and  palm trees. Definitely go see it before the weather and graffiti artists get the best of it!
