I’m terrible at remembering birthdays (and if they would let me I would more than happily forget my own ;). So I always stock up on birthday cards for emergency occasions. But nonetheless I still manage to run out of them once in a while and whenever that happens panic arises. Did I think about making my own postcards you ask? Well, uhm… no. Sometimes I wonder where my brain cells have wandered off to…

So it was about time I made some myself. I rummaged through some old magazines and a pile of papers and found some thick black paper and a magazine with thicker pages filled with poems (make sure the back of the paper is not printed). After cutting the paper the right size and adding some leather leftovers, I was done making my own minimal postcards. No more birthday stress for me!
