How to dress when it’s blazing hot

These last few days I’ve been moving as slowly as possible. No rushing to get the train (sacrificing 15 minutes for  a sweat free  forehead? Yes please.). I’m doing just about anything to avoid looking like I just stepped out of the shower…

Yup, this little heatwave is taking serious forms and a clothing crisis has been inevitable. So here’s the question that’s been on everyone’s mind: how to look dressed without breaking a sweat?

I’m wearing:
COS dress | Rebecca Minkoff sandals
Building Block tote | Kara backpack
Ming Yu Wang ring | Agata Bielen bracelet | Larsson & Jennings watch

Little details really make the difference

The answer: one piece items that require as little layering as possible. This dress that I got at COS for example is the perfect solution. You can literally wear your bikini underneath and play with accessories to dress up or down.

Some things I like to pay attention to:
-a loose fitting dress is the best piece to cool down and dress up
-when baring shoulders, wear something that hits below the knee
-add some jewellery to avoid the beach look
-wear eye-cathing sandals

Et voila: you’re well on your way to look rather decent. All you need now is someone who follows you with a big leaf and waves non-stop cool air…

P.S. these dresses are my favs:
H&M long beige dress, Nomia cutout dress, Mango blue plissé dress, Anine Bing black tunic, Stories black Kimono.
