A few months ago I saw this idea on the blog A Merry Mishap to make a necklace out of hardware. It made perfect sense to me, seeing that I visited the hardware store almost every week because we were rebuilding our home. I already owned the necklace (an eBay score) and bought the hardware separate for €2,-. Money well spend, especially because the necklace reminds me of all the hard work that went into our home.
