It was hard to miss this week: the look book of Isabel Marant. And you’re still showing us? Uhm, yep. It is the perfect representation of how minimal and -seamingly- basic pieces can create something that all of us white sneaker girls are lusting for. Especially the first two looks make me want to run to the nearest Isabel Marant store (or Charlie May, as her runway look from a few months ago seems to be the source of inspiration for the second picture. See what I mean here.) and buy thick heavy woolen items.

But even though the photography by Josh Olins is great and the first two looks are top notch, I can’t help thinking the rest is bit too bland. There’s not much new for us to look at, and I think it’s because the shape of the clothing is something we are used to by now. Oversized sweaters, tailored pants and a cocoon coat? We’ve already seen it these past seasons. What do you think of this look book: yea or nay?
