I remember kitchen accessories as the most unattractive objects to buy for your home. An onion crying face pot to store your onions in for example (you guys must remember those right). So my first goal when buying a kitchen was to make sure no unnecessary objects were in sight. But over the years I kept buying more and more accessories for the kitchen, marble ones -obviously- being my favorite. And when I bought the Hay marble rolling pin a few weeks ago I almost found it too beautiful to just be a kitchen accessories. It feels more like a little piece of art than a functional object. Strange how everything is so stylized nowadays. I’m not sure if it’s a good thing, style over practicality, but if I’m being honest I would choose style over everything else anytime.
