My 4 most used bags

1,5 years ago I bought my very first designer bag: an Alexander Wang Tri Fold cross body bag. After obsessing over it for a few months, I saw it steeply marked down on theoutnet and finally took the plunge. A week later it was mine and we have been inseparable for quite some time. But another great opportunity arrived last summer: a Building Block tote 75% off.  It was an impulse buy, but it soon became my most used bag.

An Alexander Wang belt bag followed a few months ago and a Kara backpack a few weeks ago, making my collection of bags pretty versatile. These four shapes are all the shapes I need (most of the time). Once a month I need a bigger bag, but if it’s not necessary I try to avoid dragging a shitload of stuff with me.

Four different shapes, one color: a roundup of my most used bags.

A cross body bag is versatile: it’s big enough for most occasions and you don’t need to hold it so you have both arms free.

A tote bag is bigger than a cross body, thus perfect for those days you need an iPad.

In a backpack you can pretty much stuff everything you need (yes, I still need to get a bigger one…), while feeling pretty weightless.
